What message you’d love to give to other Mums out there that don’t believe they can change?
I am that Mum who always starts new diets or exercise programs but who also always gives up on them within 2-3 weeks. Giving up was always the easy option, and eating what I wanted was always way more fun and easy. After having my fourth child at 35 I found that the weight was piling on, as usual I attempted different diets and even borrowed a cross trainer off a friend to have at my house, but I still could not get any results. So when I saw this program on Facebook I thought I would give it a go. I thought surely with having photos and measurements making me accountable that I could definitely do this.
What you enjoyed most about the program?
The support that was offered from other women on the program and our trainer Cathy was awesome, having to make posts daily made me accountable, I knew if I wasn’t posting it was because I’d had a bad day, so it was motivating to get my arse into gear the next day. I have also learnt so much about food and how eating the right things gives you more energy and helps to stop that mid afternoon craving to eat anything you lay your eyes on. I have also noticed a change in my skin, it is so much clearer than before. I think no matter how much weight we have to lose whether it is 5kgs or 20 kgs it is still hard to make that change and see progress. I am so proud of the other Mums who were on the program with me, they have worked so hard and I love seeing their progress too. I am also proud to now be a good role model for my daughters around healthy eating and body image.
