How Becs Lost More Than 50cms
What message you’d love to give to other Mums out there that don’t believe they can change?
Before starting the program I felt like I had let myself down big time. I had achieved a reasonable weight loss a year or so ago of around 6 kg and then plateaued before putting all of the weight back on and then some. Instead of addressing the issue and getting back on track I packed my scales away and told myself that it didn’t matter when it really really did. My knees and and back hurt and I felt like I was trapped in a body I didn’t recognise anymore. I was essentially an unhappy person, mum and wife. I felt out of control and disgusted with myself that I couldn’t sort this whole weight thing out by myself.
What you enjoyed most about the program?
The 8 week program saw me establish good eating habits and exercise became part of my daily routine which is fantastic. I don’t even think about exercise anymore as something that has to be squeezed in or that I have to find time for. I have found it easy to fit exercise around work and the kids activities and I often alternate a morning session for an afternoon session depending on whats going on in my day. I lost around 8 kgs over and 50 cms in 9 weeks and am amazed at how quickly my fitness improved and my body shape changed. The bonus is meeting other like minded mums going through the same journey and being able to motivate one another. Love it!
What I would say to the mums who are in the same position I was 10 weeks ago is just do it. Commit to success,banish all the negative self talk and just do it. If you focus on the end goal and put one foot in front of the other each day and and stay accountable then this program is going to work for you as it has for me. Now bring on the UBM. 🙂
