What message you’d love to give to other Mums out there that don’t believe they can change?
Before the program I was the heaviest I had been following the birth of my second little girl. I had gained weight, was emotionally eating as I was either bored, stressed or unhappy and my energy levels were so low, I struggled to want to do anything apart from go out and eat and drink. Over the 2.5 years of having babies and being pregnant, bad habits had slowly but surely crept in. It wasn’t until I kicked this off that I realized how bad these habits had got and how much of what was going in my mouth was due to my emotions. Now at the end of the 8 weeks, my energy levels have soared, I am happier, relaxed and actually enjoy wearing nice clothes again….and I actually can look at myself in the mirror and visualize the body that I have always wanted.
What you enjoyed most about the program?
I cannot stress enough how amazing this program is if you are dedicated to making changes! As a mum, life is busy, conflicting, challenging and you are time poor – this program helps you through ALL of those elements and as mum’s that’s the help and direction we need. 4 simple principles to follow, education, flexible workouts, and meal plans take the thinking out of it all – all you need to do is commit and take action and you will absolutely be amazed by the results. It doesn’t happen overnight, but it works. Trust in Kelly and her team and your will never look back.
I loved the before and after photos and the taking of measurements. At the start the images were very confronting, but were a real motivator for me as to why I started this. The focus on measurements, not weight was far more motivating and the ongoing photos demonstrated the real changes to your body. I love the idea of consistency over perfection as this can be tough for me especially to get my head around so it really helped me to understand this. The ongoing education is also amazing as it’s so important to understand what you are doing to to you body and how certain food and thoughts are sabotaging you from achieving what you want. For me the FB group was also super beneficial – to know you are sharing the same journey with so many more like minded mums who are super supportive along the way was so motivating and helpful.
