What message you’d love to give to other Mums out there that don’t believe they can change?
My story – With A 1yr old and a 2yr old , I work 3-4 days a week with a hubby that’s away lots.. I’m a busy mum!
I’ve always been an active person, and after bubba no 1, I was in great shape, but a c section with no 2, longer healing time, etc etc the weight crept on. I’d created Bad eating habits, I’d feed everyone else but didn’t make myself lunch or breakfast ( no time I’d say ) and would live on several bits of fruit a day and pick at kids meals, the odd choc bar n ‘crap’ to fill the gap. Sugar was my friend!!
I’d spend hour a day on treadmill and do home weight training but nothing shifted it.
Living in my baggy pants I didn’t realise till it was too late I couldn’t fit any other pants or jeans! I felt like rubbish, I knew I was going in circles and getting no where.
I Seen Kelly’s programme advertised and thought bugger it! I need to do something for me!! Signed up.. 8 weeks later and this is me! I’ve now joined the next programme for another year!
I haven’t lost a huge amount on the scales- though I didn’t have a load to lose… But I’ve lost 30cm in 8 weeks! Better than that though My mindset to food has done a 360. Preparation is key, getting rid of sugar is key! Hydration is key… and so on!
What you enjoyed most about the program?
The workouts are fabulous! Easy to follow, they push you hard, variation…. everything I needed! My body needed! And they’re short, they don’t take up huge chunks of your day!
The support crew of other mums on the Facebook page was great. It Made you feel accountable, gave you encouragement, support, and a place to go when you felt disappointed or let down and they’d boost you back up.
The cookbooks are full of delicious food! It made the thought of ‘giving up’ so much of the ‘crap’ we were used to easier as the meals were varied and so tasty the whole family would eat them! The few times I’ve slipped up and eaten ‘the bad’ stuff, I feel ill! That’s got to be telling me something!
All in all I couldn’t recommend this programme highly enough! I’ve done so many diets, programmes, trainers etc over the years and never got results myself nor seen in so many others like the past 8 weeks!
It’s everyone’s own journey… we all have our own struggles n battles to why and how we got to the point of wanting to sign up…. but following this programme covers all bases, gives all the support and tools to help anyone achieve their goals. I honestly believe that this programme can change anyone’s life for the good – just get started now!!!
